Your guide will welcome you at 8am in the hotel lobby and brief you on the trip. Then we will drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, the backbone of North America, and the world’s largest mountain barrier. Rocky Mountain National Park covers a total of 415 square miles. There is wildlife, incredible alpine and subalpine vistas, and 72 peaks above 12,000ft. This park is home to many native wildlife such as moose, elk, deer, marmots, eagles, hawks, and more.
We will enter the park and begin our day exploring the sights. We will then set out for a 3 hour hike that takes you away from the crowds. You and your friends will enjoy the peace and serenity as you immerse yourself in the magic of the mountains. The vistas will take your breath away as we climb to the tree line.
Later we will drive over Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous highway in the country, for 360 degree views of mountains, where relics of miners and settlers cabins dot the landscape and wildflowers abound. We will end up in the charming western town of Grand Lake, where you can dine and have fun at an authentic Colorado restaurant of your choice.
