Day 1: Arrival in Denver

Arrive on your own

Day 2: Rocky Mountain National Park:

Your guide will welcome you at 8am in the hotel lobby and brief you on the trip. Then we will drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, the backbone of North America, and the world’s largest mountain barrier. Rocky Mountain National Park covers a total of 415 square miles. There is wildlife, incredible alpine and subalpine vistas, and 72 peaks above 12,000ft. This park is home to many native wildlife such as moose, elk, deer, marmots, eagles, hawks, and more.

We will enter the park and begin our day exploring the sights.  We will then set out for a 3 hour hike that takes you away from the crowds. You and your friends will enjoy the peace and serenity as you immerse yourself in the magic of the mountains. The vistas will take your breath away as we climb to the tree line.

Later we will drive over Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous highway in the country, for 360 degree views of mountains, where relics of miners and settlers cabins dot the landscape and wildflowers abound.  We will end up in the charming western town of Grand Lake, where you can dine and have fun at an authentic Colorado restaurant of your choice.

Day 3: Grand Lake to Denver.  The town of Grand Lake, established in 1881 and sitting at an elevation of 8,369 feet (2551 m) contains the most extensive natural body of water in Colorado and is the headwaters of the Colorado River, the main source of water for states in the southwest and west.  The town is located on a gorgeous high-altitude lake with all types of activities available. You can either spend the morning with your new friends and your guide on a hike, explore the town on your own, or book  an optional activity in the morning (e.g. fishing, boating, stand up paddle board, kayaking).

In the afternoon we head to Denver and along the way we pass through Idaho Springs, a historic mining town where we’ll stop for a quick stroll. Right before we arrive in Denver we will visit the world famous  Red Rocks amphitheater, a National Historic Landmark.

Your guide will give you recommendations of where to spend your evening. Denver has it all, great music, fantastic food. and the best breweries in the country.

Day 4: Denver

Today you will experience our fun, educational, and interactive Urban Adventure Tour designed to give you the inside scoop as to why Denver is the fastest growing city in the US, and find out first hand why it is such a hot place to visit. Our local guide will show you the top historic landmarks and bring you into several fun, eclectic and emerging neighborhoods where you can stop into the local retail, dining, and craft brewing establishments, learn about the local art scene, and have an opportunity and meet and mingle with the locals.  You will leave feeling the energy and pulse of this growing city with stories to tell.
