What to expect?
  • Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
    Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheater built into a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles (16 km) west of Denver. There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525 people in between. The Amphitheater has a long history of offering a variety of music venues to visitors of all ages.

  • Evergreen Lake
    Come and experience the 55 acre Evergreen Lake Park, the recreational jewel of Evergreen. Home to the Evergreen Lakehouse, this is the perfect spot for q quick escape into nature.

  • Evergreen (Pass By)
    Evergreen’s historic Main Street, bordered between a pink cliff wall of boulders and the rapidly flowing mountain waters of Bear Creek is compact, but full of irresistible fine arts, crafts and gifts worthy of any home, as well as bistros, coffee shops, boutiques, specialty shopping, and live music.
  • Lookout Mountain
    Downtown Denver, 12 miles to the east, can be seen clearly from the Lookout Mountain. It is known for its natural scenery! The summit is famous as the gravesite of William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody and has several sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its earliest known inhabitants were the Ute tribe of American Indians, who used the mountain as a lookout point upon the surrounding region.

  • Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum
    Buffalo Bill Cody remains the ultimate Old West icon. One of his final wishes was to be buried on Lookout Mountain above Denver, and his grave site at Lookout Mountain Park is free to visit. As part of the Denver Mountain Parks system, the park offers an engaging museum dedicated to the life and times of Buffalo Bill and his internationally known Wild West show.

  • Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway (Pass By)
    A 40-mile stretch in the foothills west of Denver, Colorado, the Lariat Loop connects the communities of Golden, Morrison, Lookout Mountain and Evergreen, and features some of the area’s best historical and cultural attractions, not to mention spectacular mountain views and wildlife viewing opportunities.
