Colorado weather can change quickly, particularly in the mountains, so layers are your friend.
A windbreaker, rain jacket, hoodie, or other warm layer is always good to have with you in the mountains. Even when Denver is warm and sunny, temperatures at higher elevations can be considerably cooler.
Comfortable, supportive footwear is recommended year-round. During winter, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Warm wool socks—and even an extra pair of socks—can make a big difference on cold or snowy days.
Our standard cancellation policies are:

Children generally need to be 8 years or older to join our public group tours.
We may be able to make exceptions depending on the child and the experience. Our priority is making sure children are matched with an appropriate tour and that all safety requirements can be met.
If you're traveling with younger children, please contact us before booking so we can help you choose the right experience.
Physical activity varies considerably between Aspire Tours experiences.
Our sightseeing tours generally involve less physical activity than our dedicated hiking experiences. Individual tour pages provide more information about the approximate amount and difficulty of walking or hiking involved.

A public tour is a shared experience. You'll travel with other Aspire Tours guests who have booked the same tour.
A private tour is reserved exclusively for your group and offers greater flexibility, including private transportation and, depending on the experience, more flexibility with pickup locations and itinerary.
Private tours are a great option for families, groups of friends, corporate groups, celebrations, and guests looking for a more personalized Colorado experience.
Colorado weather can change quickly, particularly in the mountains.
Tours generally operate through normal variations in Colorado weather. However, guest and guide safety comes first. Aspire Tours may modify an itinerary or cancel a tour if weather, road conditions, closures, or other circumstances make the planned experience unsafe.
If Aspire Tours cancels a tour due to weather or unsafe conditions, guests receive a full refund.
Many of our standard tours and vehicles are not fully wheelchair accessible.
However, depending on the experience and circumstances, we may be able to arrange an accessible private tour.
Please contact Aspire Tours before booking so we can discuss your specific needs and available options.
Park entrance fees are included with your tour except for the applicable $100 non-resident National Park fee, which must be paid separately.

Dress in layers and check the forecast for both Denver and your tour destination, not just Denver.
Private tours may offer pickup from a prearranged location rather than one of our standard public-tour meeting points.

Colorado weather, traffic, road conditions, wildlife, and other circumstances can affect an itinerary, so return times should be considered approximate.
Yes, depending on the destination, group, timing, season, and availability.
If you have something specific in mind, contact us. We regularly work with guests to create private Colorado experiences beyond our standard public-tour itineraries.
Colorado's mountains are dynamic. Roads, parks, trails, scenic areas, and attractions can occasionally close because of weather, construction, events, wildfire conditions, or other circumstances outside our control.
When possible, your guide will adjust the itinerary to provide the best available experience under the conditions.
If we know about a significant closure in advance, we'll contact affected guests so they understand the situation and can decide whether they still want to join the tour.
We have a limited number of car seats and booster seats available.
Please contact us before your tour to discuss your child's age and needs so we can confirm availability and the appropriate seating arrangement.
Please let us know about any food allergies before your tour.
Advance notice gives us the best opportunity to determine what can be accommodated and discuss any concerns with you.
If you booked through a third-party travel provider, standard cancellations generally need to be processed through the company you booked with.
Contact Aspire Tours if you're unsure and we'll help determine the appropriate next step.
Please contact us before your tour.
Whether it's mobility, dietary needs, a child seat, or another accommodation, advance notice gives our team the best opportunity to determine what accommodations can be made.
If you enjoyed your experience and would like to tip your guide, 20–25% is customary.
If you think you may be late, contact Aspire Tours as soon as possible.
Our public tours operate on a schedule, and we cannot guarantee that the group will be able to wait for late-arriving guests.
Please plan ahead for traffic, parking, and walking to the meeting location, and arrive at least 10 minutes before departure.
Our Half-Day and Full-Day Daily Public Tours are open to the public and happen on a daily schedule (we don’t like to let a day go by without guiding people to enjoy Colorado’s Outdoors). Private and Company Tours are not open to the public and only happen when you book them. Outings are far more custom and planned around you—any Experience, any Destination in Colorado. Contact us to speak with a Guest Specialist to plan your perfect outing.
People respond differently to Colorado's high elevation, and even physically fit visitors can feel the effects of altitude.
Stay hydrated, avoid overexertion, and give yourself time to acclimate when possible.
If you have medical concerns about traveling to high elevation, consult your healthcare provider before your trip.
Public tours: Guests meet at the designated meeting location listed for their tour.

Parking is available throughout downtown Denver, but we generally recommend looking for parking a few blocks away from Union Station, where parking may be less expensive.
Because parking availability and rates change, we recommend using Google Maps or your preferred maps or parking app to locate current options before your tour.
Please allow extra time to park and walk to the meeting point. You should be at the American flagpole in front of Union Station at least 10 minutes before departure.
Yes. Colorado's high elevation means stronger UV exposure. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun protection are recommended year-round.
Our vehicles have limited storage space, so we cannot guarantee room for luggage.
Small carry-on items may be possible depending on the tour and number of guests. Please contact us before your tour if you need to bring luggage so we can confirm whether we can accommodate it.
If the weather is expected to be unreasonable to proceed with your tour, we will notify you the night before, or the morning of, to confirm your tour’s cancellation. That said, it is rare for us to cancel. It is your responsibility to monitor the weather and cancel accordingly if you don’t feel comfortable with conditions like clouds, rain, snow, etc. Colorado weather can be very unpredictable and we cannot guarantee visiting all sights or points of interest along the tour, if we think it is not safe to drive.
Guests meeting their Rocky Mountain National Park tour in Boulder have several nearby parking options.
Parking is available in the shopping center near Walnut Cafe, but please do not park directly in front of the cafe. Use spaces farther away from the storefront so those spaces remain available for cafe customers.
There is also a free parking garage across the street at the former Macy's location.
Please allow enough time to park and arrive at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure.
Some public tours require a minimum number of guests in order to operate.
If a tour does not meet the required minimum, Aspire Tours may offer alternatives such as moving you to another tour or another date. If Aspire Tours cancels your tour because the minimum has not been met, you will receive a full refund.
We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. Refillable water is provided on every tour.
Pets are not permitted on our tours. Service animals are addressed separately under our accessibility policies.
